But I still think I need to leave soon.
As restless as I can be, there's a reason why I have spent the last eight years or so living here. Actually, there are 16 of them.

One of my most memorable birthdays was spent with my best friend rollorblading up and down Newport Beach. For my last birthday my boyfriend took me to Newport and we have a picture of us on the pier. You are so luck to live there. I wish I could afford it! I'd NEVER EVER LEAVE!!!

Do what you want to do - you only live once. As for the beautiful scenery? You'll find beauty anywhere you go. Emerson once said "[t]hough we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not."

So it's settled then. Jim must travel the world over while carrying a beautiful woman around with him.

Those are some great photos. It looks like a great area.
Sometimes, I get all cheesy over the scenery in Chicago. Driving down Lake Shore Drive at night always reminds me of how much I love the city.

Hey! this jogged a thought, a project for you to get you through the writer's block and maybe stimulate some new thinking.
Check out the project at: http://www.sh1ft.org/26things/
Be sure to scope out the results of the last 26 Things event in July; I think you'll find lots of beauty every where, from Newport to Norway. Not too late to participate, the deadline is 01-DEC. Give it a shot. Or 26 shots.
Although I can understand Newport - I still have vivid memories of vacations there as a child. Mmm, still can taste the salt air and the grilled swordfish at the Crab Cooker...

You stayed because of the clouds? Uh.. Jim... I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but, uh, there are clouds every where in the world. No, really, I'm not lying!

Yeah, you are right Jimbo. California is ugly.
You should move to Iowa.

hey i have pictures of that marina too! but anyway, i'll remind of the song by The Orb "Little Fluffy Clouds" and also remind you that it refers to the skies in Arizona...not that I want to stay here. But hey, the clouds and the skys and the sunsets are the best anywhere. You know this. Admit it!
