I love you Molly.
So it was Flogging Molly. And with the help of my new best friend Stuart and emusic.com "If I Ever Leave This World Alive" is now in heavy rotation on Radio Jimbo. Every time I hear that song it just makes me smile. Frankly, it makes me want to go out, get sloppy drunk, sing along loudly with the band, and dance a dance I don't know how to do with a pretty girl with blue eyes and red curly hair who will take me to bed after all the drinking and dancing and singing is done.

Fun Irish music will do that. If everyone in the world would just go to a Pogues concert together and drink Guinness I think there'd be a little less war and hate going on.
(OK, we'd have to send Bush and the neocons on a "pioneer" mission to Mars because nothing will make them love, but if everyone else came to the concert and drank we'd be cool.)

"If anyone knows this song and can email me the artist, I swear to you free oral sex or free iPods or my first born or at least my eternal gratitude or something."
Um, so the real question here is, which does your new best friend Stuart get?

Oh yes, Flogging Molly is great for drowning your sorrows. Go see them live and watch a bunch of drunk Irish and Irish-for-a-day people bounce around, spilling drinks on each other, getting into good natured fights that last 3 seconds and end in hugging. I'm not exaggerating. It's fucking great fun!

Flogging Molly totally rocks, being new to them myself I can relate your desparate need to listen to their music over and over and over.....
The only cure is sex and lots of it!

Yes, the Mollys kick ass. Toss in a little DropKick Murphys and you've got a good night!

*grins* I haven't listened to them myself, but one of my friends who's a fan has described them as "an angry Irish band on crack. That I ADORE." True? no?

Flogging Molly are awesome... I saw them at the El Rey last year, and it was quite an experience. At what other concert can you see young punks moshing to drunken Irish frat rock?

*wondering if you'll believe I'm a red-headed, blue-eyed Italian*
