I really must be nuts.

So a buddy of mine from Thailand bought a boat and has been floating around Cuba and the Caribbean for a month or so. He wants to sail it to Thailand as he has a potential buyer there. It would take a couple months. I'm thinking that sounds crazy. Two months on a boat with a bunch of crazy Aussies smack in the middle of the Pacific and Indian Oceans.

I'm also thinking I really ought to try to join that crew.

We'd miss the website enries, but damn that sounds like a cool venture. How's that old saying go? "Its the things you didn't do you regret the most" isn't it?

I say go for it!

Go hang out with the little man in the boat. ;)

Prime opportunity for piracy. How do you look in an eye patch?

oh hell yes.

you have to go on this trip.

If you don't go, then you suck.

I'm with Jennn.
It's that whole man-in-uniform thing.

well then i'm coming too.

DO IT! So it might lead to a little experience with cannibalism, etc. It'll make a great made for TV movie!

No, really...do it.

Reminds me of a Split Enz song...

one minor problem: i don't know how to sail.

but tassy, if you are coming, dammit i'll learn.

and for you i'll wear that patch anywhere you want me to.

i pick no patch, cut of shorts, sandals. all on deck. you, me, in the water without any of those things.

yes. that means no pants.

Oh I am so jealous.

I get horribly seasick, especially on small boats, so that trip doesn't sound blissful to me. :) I'd rather fly there and spend my time on land!!

But go for it! Hell, why not?

aw c'mon Tassy, give Jimbo some sugar. He HEARTS you! He would handle you like he were test driving $300,000 sports car, with delight and adoration with every turn.

i offered him naked splashing in the pacific, what other sugar am i supposed to give the mighty jimbo?!

also note: he has not yet responded with his own lack of pants*

:P

tassy, you know you can have my pants anytime you want.
