I got these for Christmas in 1988. I used to wear them when I did rounds as an RA in Tinsley Hall. I once walked to a bar in HB in them. AND they roar when I step. If you've got the new AOL Messenger 5.5 that (finally) works with my iSight, I'll show you. Anything else I show you will have to be negotiated.

Ah - The memories of the Mighty Jimbo marching around a college dormitory in these lovely, roaring slippers are very clear in my mind. I always wondered if Jim had to bust anyone for breaking the rules while baring his dino-shoes. Just picturing a 6'5" drunk football player carrying an open can of beer while being approached by Roaring Jimbo brings a smile to my face.

when i was an RA at the 2104 house for UW i spent most of my time trying to make sure the kegs got into the basement without drawing too much attention. maybe if i'd had your slippers i would have done a better job and helping those young minds learn the ways of good law-obiding college kids. yeah...right.

Hey, hope you don't think I'm a stalker but I googled Tinsley Hall. NAU? Bro! No, I didn't go there but spent some of my childhood in Flag and have relatives who went to NAU. No wonder you are cool...
