Signs o' the times.

Nice to know our elected leader is so well respected that people would rather polute their city bitching about our corrupt government than their own. And this is in a country where their own president owns or controls nearly 90% of all the media outlets.

Sigh. Makes me proud to be an American.

Six more weeks and we can send him home. Six more weeks. Let's get him out of office so Italians can get back to bitching about their own government for a change.

The US is to exciting for them to be able to focus on internal screw ups and corruption. If Bush disappears into the sunset, they'll be far to busy fixating on Kerry's mishaps and about turns. I wonder is they'll paint the walls and start from scratch, or just replace the word Bush with Kerry.

Have a safe trip home.

a decade ago the only graffiti i saw in rome was mushy, non-political stuff like "ti amo paola"... *sigh*

That's some scary shit.

oh, and did you know it's not just in italy? it's ALL over europe. i saw it everywhere, and that was before half of what we know had come up.

i saw a great bumper sticker the other day though, "fermez la bush!" (en francais - fermez la bouche means shut your mouth, or shut up)

i keep putting up politically provocative stuff and getting almost zilch. i think i need more conservative readers just to spice things up.

it's plenty spicy - I found this entry to be very powerful and haunting. good perspective, keep sharing it.

thanks for the comment, but it is bad form around here to leave a comment annonymously. post a name at least or risk getting blocked.

thanks!
