Halloweenies.

Overheard tonight...

"You'd look really good in that dress, if it weren't for your, uh, bulge."

We all look down to stare at what has suddenly become a very obvious penis in a very tight black dress.

"Gee. Thanks for bringing it up."

Alright. I scoped out your old Halloween party pics on your website and am convinced therein lies your problem. You hang out with way too many women who think it's cute to dress in skimpy Halloween costumes. Not that this is altogether bad. I see the appeal, but is it working for ya?

The overwhelming prevalence of these costumes shows a definite commonality of mindset that's a bit wearisome and not-too-promising. I meant to suggest earlier - before you attended this year's round of Halloween fetes - that you take notice of the women who aren't dressed like the others. Just so you could test out my theory.

My male friends taught me long ago that women who dress like sluts (be they slutty bunnies, slutty schoolgirls, slutty office workers, slutty nurses, et al.) for Halloween are poor relationship material. I also live in the Midwest, which I understand is a completely different ball game than SoCal. Or is it?

Hmmm....

Where are you going, by the way?

I'd have to disagree anne... Just last night I showed up to a halloween party as a naughty schoolgirl and I think that I am really good girlfriend material... I think Halloween is a chance for people to allow their naughty side to come out when they normally don't. i teach 3rd grade and am very responsible, but last night I got to take on a character.
I think that girls who ACT like a slut are the ones you want to avoid, not ones who dress like it.

Just my thoughts
Mel

Mel - I don't doubt there are exceptions to the rule, like yourself. But that's kind of the point - according to the theory, the sexy-dressed ones should be the exception to the rule at a Halloween party, rather than the norm. When it IS the norm, perhaps taking a look at the exceptions is a worthwhile approach. Does that make sense?

Anyhow, it's just a silly theory my male friends devised. It appears to work for them, so, like I said, I'm curious how it would work in other areas.

Now, if one applied the theory to normal, everyday dress, wouldn't we agree that in a crowd of women wearing Ugg boots, that the Mighty Jimbo might be smart to start with the women NOT wearing the Ugg boots?

Um, was it YOUR black dress? Just curious . . .

embrace your inner slut! if only on halloween.

that post was hilariously funny when i came back a few days later and read it a second time...
no wonder i can't tell a good joke.
i don't GET the good jokes. easily.
age. feh.
