Home on the O-range.
I'm home.
It's not going well for me professionally right now.
Or personally right now.
It might be time for a self-imposed digital hiatus.
Even if that isn't the case, I'm drained, and it's impacting my capacity for creative thought.
Certainly my ability to be funny.
Regardless of what I choose, daily updates may become increasingly difficult.
Sorry kids, but it is all about me.

Take your time, look after yourself, do what you need to do, and don't worry about us - we're just a bunch of stalkers anyway :)

yeah, man... take a vacation from this place. We'll be here when you get back.

i speculate it's due to the lack of a local bday party this year... life just isn't the same without the annual jello shots, and mullets, and boobies, and 'stuff'.

Aww hon, give yourself a break! You just finished a marathon work trip, AND are probably recovering from post-vacation depression. I'm only now coming out of my post-Alaska funk.
Back to the real world.

Helloooo? Remember what you titled this damn thing? Digital catharsis? so scream and cry and bleed... you don't have to be funny. Sure, you can take a break and take care of yourself. Of course. We'll wait. But just remember, you don't always have to be "On" just because you're "Online."

If it makes you feel any better, at least you are not my dad. I just told him that when he gets old, I'm going to put him in a home, and not a good one either. One of those homes where the patients are passed out in wheelchairs, urinating on themselves in the hallway.

Enjoy your hiatus, I'm sure we'll all survive without your grumblings and wit. Yes it'll be difficult, some of us will need therapy, but no problem, we'll cope, somehow . . .

Jim,
Come out to Hawaii. The surf is going off right now. Get some R and R and see your Nieces.

Take care of yourself, it's just that easy. There is change coming for you - that much is easy for even a stranger like myself to see. Take a deep breath and welcome it.

Hang in there ... I know just what you mean. Be kind to yourself. We'll be here, whenever you decide to share.
Take care.

Oh, and one last thing -
I don't come here expecting you to 'be funny'. I don't look to you just for entertainment, like you're a clown at a birthday party or something.
No pressure, at least from me ... You write whatever you want to write.
