Found.

Helluva weekend. Finding myself on a near perfect date with a beautiful girl with silver blue eyes (I'm such a sucker for the eyes), a bottle of good wine, a tiny hole in the wall Italian place in HB that nobody knows about, and hours of conversation over a meal that could possibly feed a small African nation.

Finding myself racing through a near perfect Saturday afternoon, a sky impossibly blue, and chasing a Ducati 999r through the wonderfully light fall traffic on PCH, carving through the green hills of bungalows and beautiful people in Malibu.

Finding myself in Joshua Tree with a new climbing partner, and the sweet relief of once again being lost among the rocks in the closest place I know to heaven. Finding myself dirty and tired and thoroughly at ease with things as they are. Finding myself on top of a stone monument to the timelessness of nature and the insignificance of my place in it.

Finding myself with roughly a hundred new pictures to share.

Just finding myself.

And I'm to find myself in Seattle tonight. And then San Fran on Wednesday. If you live there. Ping me.

Oh my God...a SMILE!

You should do that way more often :-)

Hope you are enjoying Seattle. If I weren't completely at the whim and call of my little girl -- I'd see if Paul & I couldn't connect up with you briefly while you are in town and say hello. Maybe next time through... :)

I was transported to sunny, beautiful California by your pictures. And I thought they were great. But you saved the best for last. You! The smile is infectious and wondeful. I agree with Kath. I'd like to see more Jimbo Smile. It's mighty white.

Beautiful.

Yaay! Smiley Jim.... We like smiley Jim!

okay, everyone already posted what I was thinking when I saw the last pic.

looks good on ya, Jimbo.

JIMBO PLEASE TAKE ME THERE! I'm visiting Tuscon, and the SW 'round March 23 (our spring break on campus), vising Homer in Tuscon, seeing ghost towns, lizards, spiders, and charismatic rock formations.

Jim, you live more life in a weekend than some of live in a year. Your excitement and enthusiasm are infectious.

That's it. I'm going back to Joshua Tree. It's been about two years and those pics made me crave the remarkable serenity of JT. (Funny that we were there many years ago...7?)

Wonderful photos. Keep on finding...

SD Jimbo

Awwww, now there's the happy Jimbo I "know"! Lovely pics, thanks for sharing a bit of them with the blogsphere!

Lucky man!
Make the feeling last. ;)

oh stop. i smile lots. and there are LOTS of smiling jimbo pics around here and in my yahoo site. but sometimes a smile isn't the image i'm looking for, sometimes the smiling pics don't turn out as well as the non smiling ones, and frankly, sometimes i just don't feel like smiling.

Finding this entry to be the cheesiest of all ...

But that's okay. Not all of us can have the asshole switch turned up to high 24 hours a day. I truly am one gifted fucker. You really are lucky to know me.

melly, i don't know what i would do without you.

Why haven't there been Tassy pics in so long?
