Updates.
So after two visits to the chiropractor I have mobility again, and pain I can manage. I wouldn't say I'm all better, but at least I don't cry when I have to pee in the morning.
Josh sensing something has been wrong with Alpha Jimbo has been trying to comfort me, typically by trying to crawl onto my chest. This has been very sweet, but not very effective.
I figure by Saturday I'll be back to the gym. In case I hadn't mentioned it recently, getting old pretty much sucks especially when you've spent your entire adult life as an athlete.
In other, wholly unrelated news, the new Angels and Airwaves album is the coolest piece of mainstream rock music I've heard in ages. I always thought Blink 182 was the only pop-punk band with any chops (Green Day not included as I don't feel Green Day ever changed their tune to go "pop" - mainstream found them, not vice versa). Tom's new sound (a sound that began with tracks like "Miss You" when he was still with Blink) is big and cinematic (maybe to a fault). Either way, I'm totally digging it as I haven't heard anything like it in years. Jack white may well be a genius, but sometimes I want my music cooked, not raw.

Do they sound like the Cranberry's? You know who is wondering that....

totally agree with the assessment of a&a, but have to take exception with the green day sentiments. 15 years ago - no question they were pure. these last few years... well... let's face it, they have reduced themselves forcing out under-developed and over-produced power ballads. that's not the green day that i remember. compared to dookie, this green day is simply a pile of shit...
but yeah, every iteration of blink is great. this latest venture may be the best yet... and don't forget about the new jay z. good good.
