News radio.
So I got sick of waking up (slowly) to static or very broken broadcasts of Adam Carolla or Morning Edition on NPR weirdly intermixed with Ranchero music, so I eBay'ed myself a new Boston Acoustics HD stereo. Sure it's a little extravagant for a clock radio, but it's cheaper than regularly and repeatedly tossing crappy Korean radios across the room.
In other news, this pretty much ensures I'm going straight to hell.
Probably time to alert PETA.

I got really ticked off at my alarm last week too. I didn't throw it across the room I just yanked it up & pulled the antennae out. Instead of buying a new one, being the Ms. Fixit that I am, I took it apart & made a better connection. It works better than it did brand new.
