Sometimes it's not too bad to be up too early.
The June Gloom is always best just after dawn. This (and the sea lions) is why I make my morning dog walk with the camera in the bike basket.

ok, i've obviously never been to your place, so i HAVE to ask. is this the view from your window? or do you have to go for a walk to shoot a pic like this?
