Out foxed.
I was sitting in Texas today, and Fox News was on the TV.
This is not an uncommon event as you might guess. Some pretentious, interruptive and not atypically snarky blonde bitch was on air, interrupting her guests answers immediately after asking them a question. Well, she was interrupting ONE guest.
Now, I don't have a problem with this show in principle, people can watch what they want to watch. What I have a problem with is calling this NEWS. The infotainment, the nasty endless editorial, the blatantly biased coverage that I usually see on this network is propaganda at best and yet, - here's what bothers me most - it's the most watched "news" network in the country.
Look, the left has it's social/political commentary too, but John Stewart isn't calling his show "news." It's appropriately broadcast on the COMEDY channel.
What happened to the idea that news is the fourth branch of government? The final check and balance. What happened to measured, balanced delivery. At what point did we decide that the network most closely aligned with our personal political beliefs was where we would get our information.
Cronkrite isn't even dead and he's already rolling in his grave.

what's wrong with you..... Why you even turn channel to Fox news unless you want to have a good laugh or study "those ppl". History, news, news paper are just someone else's opinion like books. Information comes from... of course... the internet!!! LOL

omg, I was at the car dealership one day waiting for an oil change, low and behold ALL the teles' had Fox news on. after about 15 minutes of walking around trying to avoid the right sidedness of the awful anchors,I finally asked if they could change the channel to something not so full of shit. They did. to CNN.

Whoever they work for, journalists are dumb. It is literally a job requirement that you be a heavy drinker, and stupider than a three-fingered farmhand. And if you're an egomaniac who can't stop chattering like a parrot, so much the better.
But seriously...Cronkite? I suppose, if you're going to look America in the eye and lie, it's more dignified to do it without interrupting anyone.
