Wasted.
I've rated 942 movies on Netflix.
At my best guess, i've seen at least two times as many movies as that in my life. Perhaps three. Maybe four. But I'll be conservative and I'll guess two.
Assuming an average movie is 100 minutes long, and assuming I've averaged 2.5 viewings per movie, I've spent nearly a year of my life (and possibly much more as these are all very conservative estimates) just watching movies.
This does not include sports, cartoons, sitcoms, crappy reality television, commercials, internet pornography or the time I've spent rating movies on Netflix.
Considering I'm one of the MOST active people I know, this does not bode well for the average ass size of the American public.
Or our collective intellect.
I think I'll go read a book.

I think I have over 900 movies in my Netflix queue. I like to browse its movie selection, pick a few here and there, and then never watch them. I'm also bad about sending the damn movies back.

May I suggest Swiss Family Robinson?
I'm reading it for the first time and enjoying the hell out of it. I recently watched the 1960 movie version again and I can't decide which I like more.
