Novelty money.
Some coffee shop dude handed me this a few weeks ago:
I hadn't seen one of these in at least five years. Maybe ten. Sure, it's legal tender for all debts, public and private, but to me, it's always been a bit of a surprise. Even when they were still in regular circulation. Getting a two dollar bill as a kid was kind of like getting a JFK fifty cent piece or a bicentenial quarter.
Something to muse over with a smile. Something to show your friends. Something to keep in a drawer for a month or two.
You know, before handing it to your crack dealer.
