So we spent five days in the eastern sierra, clicked some 1300 rounds on the odometer, fished in fifteen different lakes or rivers, and caught and ate a LOT of trout. Strangely, I haven't been craving sushi in a long time. Go figure.
I also lost at least a hundred dollars worth of flies, lures, hooks, worms, line, and bobbers across the Sierra Nevada.
And I drank beer. Lots of beer.
Josh, for his part, pissed on a LOT of trees. He's totally a team player.
My favorite place was probably Lake Tenaya in Tuolumne, but really. As Tuolumne and the Tioga Pass is maybe my favorite place on the planet, that wasn't too hard to predict. The place I'm bound to revisit is the Sonora Pass. That's a road that needs another trip - only with a rope and rock shoes in tow.
I've posted most everything I intend to post at this point. Want the gory details? FInd them here .
