Sierra sunshine.
I've posted most of the photos from our now annual boys fishing trip to Mammoth. We went to McCloud Lake and the little Tioga and Saddleback Lake and the West Walker and up the Sonora Pass and ate a school of rainbow trout with cold beer and fresh salsa.
The dog swam in lakes, I swam in rivers and Ken and I even managed to get in a long, epic, and utterly fantastic singletrack run in from the top of Mammoth Mountain, a ride that was so good, winding fast through trees and along ridges and through snow and mud and dirt that I came home and spent the GDP of a small, African nation on a shiny new mountain bike.
Really, as if I could do MORE damage to my knees.
More worrisome, however, is that if I spend any more time up in that place with all those rocks and trails and trees and bears and fish and snowbunnies, I'm likely to spend the GDP of a LARGE African nation on something like a two bedroom condo or cabin.
Bring beer and pay for gas and you can come too.

I'm in. I miss Mammoth in the summer. Used to go there a lot with my parents growing up.

I have excellent taste in beer. Also, as soon as I figure out how to procure myself a place up in the CO mtns., you're welcome there! :)
